A bath transfer bench makes getting into and out of the bath easier by providing a sturdy base for the user to sit on before sliding into position. They are ideal for people who have difficulty climbing into a standard bath or who are unable to stand while bathing.
The transfer bench features four legs and is designed to straddle the bath, one end is placed inside the bath while the other sits outside.
The user is able to sit down on the edge outside the bath before swinging their legs over the edge of the bath. They can use the included handles to maneuver themselves into position. When getting out, the user can lift their legs to the outside of the bath and remain seated while toweling dry.
